WORLD CONTEST 2007

Participants :

Open to all members of C.A – R.P -  S.A. who renewed for year 2007.  

Registration:

Not necessary; who would like to take part of it, should only send his log to the contest manager  within the established term. 

Date:

contest will be held during two week-ends with the following procedures:

1^st part: from Saturday June 2^nd at 1 P.M. GMT (15:00 local time) to Sunday June 3^rd at 8 P.M. GMT (22:00 local time)

2^nd part: from Saturday June 30^th at 1 P.M. (15:00 local time) to Sunday July 1^st at 8 P.M. (22:00 local time). 

Rules: 

Ø      Contest will be held in phonia on the 11 meters band USB or LSB mode.

Ø      Calls should be made 27.555 Mhz by announcing the new operative frequency (QSY). It is absolutely forbidden to assign progressive numbers on this frequency. 

Ø      If General Presidents (QUINCY, VITO, MARK) partecipate to the contest, will use its own group’s monitor frequencies for calls; in this way, they will be easier to contact. If they want to, they may change frequency for calls.

Ø      Each contact should end with a consecutive progressive number (starting with 01, then 02, and so on…)

Ø      It  is allowed to contact radio operators of all groups and every country, but  scoring will change (see enclosed table). 

Ø      The contest manager may ask for confirming QSLs to first classifieds.

Ø      Each station may contact another station only once a day (i.e. 1 RP 005 Luigi may be contacted by a specific station once on June 2^nd, once on Sunday 3^rd, once on June 30^th and once on July 1^st); in all, 4 progressives. 

Ø      Contacts with S.E.S or DX  stations are uneffectives.

Ø      All contacts with stations not C.A. - R.P. - S.A. should be confirmed with official QSL cards of one’s own group (sent and received qsl)

Ø      Logs should arrive at contest manager 1 CA 818 Stefy by August 30th, 2007 (postmark evidence) via mail (postal or electronic). 

Prizes 

- Absolute winner will be awarded with a prize appointed by the three groups together.

- Each group will award its first three stations classified. 

Scores 

- Stations from your division, not belonging to C.A. - R.P. - S.A.               1 point

- Stations C.A., R.P. or S.A. from your division                                         5 points

- Foreign stations, not belonging to C.A. - R.P. - S.A.                              5 points

- Foreign stations C.A., R.P. or S.A.                                                       10 points

- Contacts with C.A., R.P. or S.A.’s Division Presidents                          15 points

- Contacts with C.A., R.P. or S.A.’s General Presidents                         15 points

- 15 different divisions contacted                                                       30 extra points
